Biography and positions :

Prof. Ouarda ZEDADRA is a Full Professor of Computer Science at the University 8 Mai 1945, Guelma, Algeria, and a senior researcher at the LabSTIC laboratory. Her research is centered on swarm intelligence, multi-agent systems, multi-robot coordination, bio-inspired algorithms, smart healthcare and the Internet of Things (IoT). She has contributed significantly to the development of intelligent systems for exploration, foraging, and health monitoring.

Prof. ZEDADRA has led and participated in several national research projects, including the design of intelligent IoT-based health surveillance systems. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as Sensors, Big Data and Cognitive Computing, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing. Her current work combines artificial intelligence with edge computing to address complex, real-world challenges.

She is also actively involved in the international research community, having completed multiple scientific stays in France and Italy, and serving as reviewer for major journals and conferences in AI, robotics, and distributed systems.
